“Communicating with care” to strengthen corporate reputation

A company’s reputation is an asset built over time and renewed every day through concrete actions and conscious choices.

For IBSA, the consistency between what is achieved and what is communicated is a reflection of its identity. This result stems from a collective effort that unites quality, innovation, responsibility and attention to the Person.

COMMUNICATION: A CONSCIOUS ACT THAT STRENGTHENS REPUTATION

In a highly regulated sector such as pharmaceuticals, where credibility is critical, reputation is not only an image indicator, but also the measure of the trust that people place in the company. The same care and attention that guide scientific research, innovation and product quality also guide our way of communicating. This approach stems from a simple yet fundamental concept: care, at the heart of every process. Care in the choice of words, in content creation, and in interpersonal relationships. A conscious act, a necessary duty to strengthen reputation every day; a non-trivial process that places corporate actions and values at the centre of everything.

REPUTATION: A SINGLE VOICE SPEAKING DIFFERENT LANGUAGES

Communicating with Care

In this context, the task of IBSA’s Corporate Communication Department is to communicate the company’s values and culture clearly and consistently, through a rigorous narrative that is also capable of creating connections.

For three years, this vision has been renewed and consolidated globally through ICAM (International Communication Annual Meeting) – an event organised by the Corporate Communication department with communications contact persons from the various subsidiaries, the third edition of which has just concluded.

Communicating with Care

This year’s theme was Communicating with Care. Indeed, communicating with care means paying attention to content quality and consciously choosing words and tone of voice, creating the company’s personality and positioning it within and beyond its context, which for IBSA is not solely the pharmaceutical industry.

The concept of care, also present in the payoff Caring innovation, is a cross-cutting principle throughout company, extending from people to words, from innovations to stories, from therapies to the messages that describe them.
