IBSA among the protagonists of Premio Film Impresa with 'Eureka!' Docu-film

The fourth edition of Premio Film Impresa, a prestigious event dedicated to the best audio-visual works capable of narrating company stories through innovative and creative languages,  concluded in Rome on Thursday, 4 March.

IBSA’s docu-film "Eureka! Story of an Impossible Invention" was also a highlight of the festival. This short film was selected as a finalist in the Narrative category from hundreds of entries in a competition that featured renowned international brands. The film also received a second nomination, making it a finalist for best original music.

“Eureka!” was screened on 3rd March to an audience and an esteemed jury chaired by actor and director Sergio Castellitto. The nomination, the positive reception, and the screening before the public and a jury of excellence represent a recognition that celebrates the film's value and highlights IBSA's ability to unite scientific innovation and artistic expression in a continuous dialogue.

'EUREKA!': WHERE SCIENCE BECOMES ART

Produced by the Swiss company production Pluma Pictures in 2025, "Eureka! Story of an Impossible Invention" is an artistic journey that reveals IBSA's profound soul. The docu-film recounts the genesis of an invention that once seemed unachievable – levothyroxine in soft capsules – and which today embodies the company's philosophy: to develop drugs in the best form to make them more effective and closer to people's needs. It is a journey through science, but also an exploration of the human adventure behind the creation of a 'solid liquid', a heartfelt tribute to the passion and enthusiasm of IBSA's employees, told through the metaphor of a painting coming to life.

Over the years, the Corporate Film Award has established itself as a pivotal showcase for giving visibility to a unique way of doing business, valuing creativity and ingenuity. IBSA's docu-film competed in the Narrative section, a category which, as described by the organisers, "gathers short films and fictional stories that centre on people, work, and community, using diverse languages to address social, industrial, and cultural themes."

The nomination for this award is a testament to IBSA's vision, which recognises art and culture as powerful tools to make science more accessible and a source of inspiration. "Eureka!" exemplifies how cinematic language can permeate different fields, revealing a unique heritage of ingenuity and savoir-faire.
