VisiONtomorrow: sharing, global vision and innovation at the heart of IBSA’s Global Branding Meeting

From 18 to 21 May 2025, Baveno – on Lake Maggiore (Italy) – hosted VisiONtomorrow, the first Global Branding Meeting organised by IBSA for the pharma therapeutic areas, a global event aimed at strengthening the vision and identity of a constantly evolving company.

Between direct subsidiaries and distributors, the event was attended by 160 participants of the Sales & Marketing and Medical Affairs teams from 34 countries. The goal was to share best practices and a common strategic direction in IBSA’s main therapeutic areas, from reproductive medicine to endocrinology, from uro-gynaecology to osteoarticular.

An evocative claim was chosen as the common thread of the event: Make it Impossible, a bridge between global strategy and local action where every team, every subsidiary, every person promotes change, focusing on dialogue and the exchange of experiences.

INNOVATION, STRATEGY AND SHARING

The VisiONtomorrow meeting clearly showed that, at IBSA, innovation is not only scientific, but also strategic: the Group’s strength lies in its ability to bring together diverse skills, local visions and global perspectives within a shared and collaborative model.

The event featured 40 hours of working sessions, 25 business meetings, 12 external speakers and several patient testimonials, which brought the focus back to the impact of therapies on everyday life. 

Plenty of opportunities for interaction and fun too, including the award ceremony for the Brand Olympics – a project launched last year to encourage creativity among international teams in developing marketing campaigns. A total of 18 projects were submitted by IBSA affiliates and were recognised in three categories:

  • Best Creativity to IBSA USA, for Normal is not Enough 
  • Best Results to IBSA Iberia, for Shaping Raising Stars in ART 
  • Best Strategy to IBSA Italy, for Dal palato alla tiroide (“From Palate to Thyroid”)

Global Marketing Meeting

Claudio Lezzi, Head of Marketing at IBSA, stated: “This meeting was above all a moment of collective creation, where everyone contributed value and received inspiration.
