Scientific innovation and progress in clinical practice: IBSA at Isokinetic and Eular 2023

Sharing, interaction, inspiration. Three words that sum up the spirit of two congress events: Isokinetic 2023, dedicated to sports medicine, and Eular 2023, dedicated to rheumatology and related conditions. IBSA participated in both events, which were also attended by the leading experts of the relevant areas, to discuss the most significant scientific innovations and advances in clinical practice.

ISOKINETIC – FOOTBALL MEDICINE: THE PURSUIT OF EXCELLENCE 

Held in London from 27 to 29 May, the Isokinetic Annual Conference is a one-of-a-kind experience, as well as a global landmark event in sports medicine. It’s a meeting that stands out for its liveliness, due to the participation of over two thousand members, including numerous students and postgraduates, but also many professional athletes, who come together to share news, skills and best practices.

Three days full of ideas presented by an intense scientific programme, to which IBSA actively contributed with the organisation of four scientific sessions at its stand, aimed at promoting discussion and the interaction between experts. Thanks to the contribution of Dr. Stefano Guerrasio – Orthopaedic Surgeon of the IRCCS San Gerardo dei Tintori in Monza (Italy) and Professor of Human Anatomy at the Bicocca University of Milan – the sessions focused in particular on the “tips and tricks” of the topical use of NSAIDs in the treatment of minor sports injuries and the latest news on the “hybrid” approach of intra-articular treatments through viscosupplementation. The meetings recorded great interest from the public, thanks also to the opportunity for the attendees to discuss and directly interact with the expert on actual clinical situations.

The next appointment is for 2024 at the Cívitas Metropolitano stadium in Madrid.

EULAR

With over 12,000 participants, the 2023 EULAR Congress achieved a great success in attendance among rheumatologists, orthopaedists and experts of the sector. EULAR is a congress that was created as a European appointment in the field of rheumatology, with the participation of international experts.

Held in Milan from 31 May to 3 June, the event was an opportunity to discuss the latest news and the most cutting-edge products and technologies available for rheumatic diseases. With a stand of 36 m², IBSA took part in this important congress, offering to attending doctors information and in-depth materials on the main therapeutic solutions that the company develops in the osteoarticular and rheumatology areas. IBSA enters the field of rheumatology and related condition with products designed and developed specifically to improve their own effectiveness, as well as the patient’s compliance.

With the stand located in a prominent position, IBSA was able to gather a large turnout of people, testifying to the interest of the participants in a company capable of developing effective and transversal products for the treatment of several rheumatic and osteoarticular disorders.
