IBSA Expands its Presence in the US in Aesthetic Medicine with an Agreement with Evolus to Bring Profhilo® to the US Market

It is against this backdrop that a historic step in IBSA’s global growth takes place, with the announcement of the signing of a commercial and scientific partnership agreement with Evolus, Inc. (NASDAQ: EOLS) – a global company specialising in “performance beauty” – for the clinical development and subsequent commercialisation of Profhilo® in the United States. This collaboration combines IBSA’s scientific excellence and patented technology with Evolus’ well-established infrastructure, with the aim of introducing a revolutionary vision of wellbeing to one of the world’s largest markets for aesthetic medicine.

This agreement represents a milestone in IBSA’s global expansion strategy, strengthening its direct and indirect presence overseas.

Indeed, IBSA has been present in the United States with a subsidiary since 2018, operating in the therapeutic areas of endocrinology, osteoarticular, pain and inflammation, and urology. The agreement with Evolus allows IBSA to expand its scientific footprint in the US, making its official entry into the aesthetic medicine market. This is not just about expanding commercial boundaries, but about exporting the philosophy of Caring Innovation overseas, which combines cutting-edge solutions with a deep sense of human connection.

Under the terms of the agreement, Evolus will complete the product’s clinical development in accordance with current US regulations, which are necessary for the US regulatory agency, the FDA (Food and Drug Administration), to grant authorisation for the marketing of Profhilo® in the United States.
