IBSA USA Veloce Award 2025: recognising excellence, celebrating team spirit

The Veloce Award is an initiative by IBSA USA – the US subsidiary of the IBSA Group – dedicated to recognising the outstanding achievements of its sales team – a prize that honours the best sales professionals who are capable of combining excellent expertise, dedication, and consistent results.

The name Veloce – from the same Italian word, which in turn is from the Latin velox, meaning swift, quick – symbolises the determination and agility with which these collaborators embrace challenges and opportunities, driving the company’s growth and embodying the true team spirit of the American subsidiary.

IBSA USA: A STRATEGIC PRESENCE IN A HIGH-POTENTIAL MARKET

Based in New Jersey, and led by CEO Nicholas Hart, IBSA USA operates in one of the world’s most dynamic and highly regulated markets, where scientific expertise, product quality, and relationship-building skills are key to success.

Established in 2018, the subsidiary has steadily strengthened its position in the US market, thanks to a therapeutic offering that meets the real needs of doctors and patients alike, gaining recognition in key areas such as endocrinology, osteoarticular health, and pain & inflammation.

FROM THE NATIONAL SALES MEETING TO THE TRIP TO LUGANO

The Veloce Award marks the culmination of a year-long journey. The sales reps’ results are monitored quarterly and, at the beginning of each year, IBSA USA identifies those who have excelled in performance, consistency and teamwork. The winners are then announced at National Sales Meeting (NSM), the annual event that brings together the entire sales force to share strategies, training, and objectives.

In March 2025, at La Jolla, California, the NSM hosted the Veloce Award Banquet, the celebratory evening dedicated to the best sales representatives of the previous year, across various categories.

Award recipients can then choose between a cash prize or an experience – the Veloce Trip, a journey for two that begins in Lugano, home IBSA’s Headquarters, and continues through several destinations. And most winners choose this second option!

The Veloce Award 2025 winners were: Mark Oliver, Stephen Pope, Marie Lacombe, Danica Crane, Sara Wilgoren, Nelson Henry, Alex Walker, Nichole Rineer, Brette Corder, Tonya Cobb e Liam Kenney.

This year’s journey began in Lugano, home of the IBSA Headquarters, where they visited cosmos, the Group’s largest manufacturing plant, before continuing on an inspiring five-day trip through Venice, Bologna, and Florence – combining cultural discovery, group activities, and shared experiences.
